Friends of Walgrave School (FOWS)
FOWS is a friendly committee of people who work collaboratively with the school to raise money for the children at Walgrave. These funds then provide extra-curricular activities, resources and equipment designed to enrich the learning and social experiences of all children in the school.

Where the money goes
Over the years, FOWS have raised money in all sorts of ways for many different wonderful things, these include; a virtual pantomime, subsidising school trips and coaches, set of class and library iPads, parties, the pirate ship, trim trail, workshops, think tanks, refreshments at events, year 6 farewells, Now Press Play, the redecoration of the entrance hall, and the swimming pool!

How can you help?
Whether you are new to the school or you have children already attending, there is no better time to join this friendly and creative team!
Parents, carers and members of the local community are all welcome to join however great the involvement. Meetings are held as necessary, usually at The Royal Oak in Walgrave.
If meetings are difficult for you to attend, you could support is other ways…
