Mental Health and Wellbeing Awareness
At our school, mental health is a top priority. We believe that a healthy mind is just as important as a healthy body, and our approach reflects that belief across everything we do.
Our Healthy Body, Healthy Mind programme, designed in-house, provides tailored support for children’s emotional wellbeing. It is delivered by experienced staff and supported by mental health professionals from an NHS provider, ensuring expert guidance every step of the way.
We promote mental health through our core school values, by listening to pupil voice, and by fostering self-esteem through both academic and non-academic achievements. Our goal is to meet each child’s individual needs while helping them build emotional resilience.
We also use the Zones of Regulation to help children understand and manage their emotions, giving them the tools they need to thrive both in school and in life.
At every level, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where all children can flourish.
